Fly Ranch Nature Walks
Traverse through two distinct areas of Fly Ranch, totaling roughly two miles. Knowledgeable docents teach walkers about the flora, fauna, and natural resources as well as history of the area.
Experience three geysers including the stunning Fly Geyser, an iconic geothermal geyser that constantly sprays, depositing minerals, and enabling the growth of multi-colored algae on its surrounding natural terraces.

Gerlach Mural Project
Gerlach welcomes visitors to a new Open Air Art Gallery, featuring wall murals and eight mini-mural panels. Art is being hung throughout the month of May, and a reception will be happening on Friday, May 23, 3-6pm at the Gerlach Community Center.
A Call for Artists went out in 2024 and eight artists were selected to paint 4' x 8' “mini murals”. The mini-murals are mounted around town along Main Street and East Sunset Boulevard all within easy walking distance of each other. In addition, two wall murals have been completed and more are in the works.
