Walter De Maria directed and appeared in a 29 minute film shot on the Black Rock Desert. De Maria later created The Lightening Field in New Mexico. Michael Heizer also appeared in the film.

A 1994 made for TV film about the how Stolpa Family was stuck for 8 days on Highway 8A near Vya. IMDB says it was filmed in British Columbia.
