Mormon Dan Canyon runs between Mormon Dan Spring and Mormon Dan Peak near the road to Soldier Meadows.

The term "Mormon Dan Canyon" first appears in the Mormon Dan Peak 1:24,000 Map from 1980. There is also a citation from 1987.[1]
