National Public Trails Day

Celebrate National Trails Day with a stewardship campout.

Join us June 3-5 at Steven’s Camp, north of High Rock Canyon, for National Public Trails Day and get ready to get your hands dirty! This is a unique volunteer opportunity for restoration and maintenance projects along a portion of the Applegate National Historical Trail. You’ll enjoy a weekend of camaraderie, beautiful nature, and fantastic good times! Better yet, your service will help to ensure that these beloved destinations remain viable for all who wish to enjoy them. As always, delicious meals will be provided.

When: Friday June 3rd thru Sunday June 5th (volunteer projects are on Saturday)

Where: Steven’s Camp, North entrance of High Rock Canyon

We will leave for Steven’s Camp at 12 pm on Friday, from our Visitor Center in Gerlach and return Sunday afternoon. Most cars should be fine, Higher Clearance and 4WD are recommended to reach the campsite (one small creek crossing near the campsite). We welcome you to join us at noon for group departure.
