A Lifetime of Exploration Awaits You

Invisible boundaries separate the Black Rock Desert and High Rock Canyon into ten land districts in addition to the Jackson Mountains detached district. Each destination within the National Conservation Area offers different opportunities for sightseeing and exploration.

There are no roads that directly link to the districts. Although they may appear close on a map, traveling between them requires two to six hours by car. Most people find it impractical to visit more than one area in a single trip. Click here to view NCA maps.
