"... implement temporary closures and restrictions of certain activities on public lands within and adjacent to the Smoke Creek Desert within the Black Rock Field Office. The closures and restrictions are necessary to provide for public safety and to protect public resources. The temporary closures will be in effect between August 29 and September 6, 2011. ...

... The temporary closures do not restrict people from recreating and camping in the closure area."
