Mine and old cabin photo opp's

Fot the past 15 years or so my part-time past time has been photographing mine openings, old mining cabins and just the basic mining grounds. I have also made a hobby out of securing old mining cabins in the Inyo Mtns. Years ago my kids and i were caught in a massive thunder storm and happend upon an old mining cabin where we were able to take shelter.

I make it out to the Black Rock a couple times a year and have still been on the hunt for mines and cabins in and around the area. I have a bunch of pictures of Sulpher befor and after the last remaining structure fell over. So i figured that Friends of the Black Rock would be a good place to get some info on things i havent found yet. I am going back in the next few weeks before fall and winter set in so it may be my last trip of the year for this year. I would really like to get up into the Jackson range this next time. I do not care if the mines are sealed off of not. I have no interest in entering them, lol. Any place to stay away from? Any place i should see? If nothing else it will turn into another clean up trip. Last time i wnt out we left home with 2 backpacks, a camp stove and a cooler and came home with 17 black trash bags of garbage we picked up along the way. Any info would be helpful, Thanks!
