Will Roger hosts evening of the 9th

Directions are:

Highway 34 from Gerlach to the 12 mile entrance,
12 mile entrance to West Track Playa Road,
Drive 6 miles (at 5 miles pass two markers made of old tires).
Turn due East and travel 3 miles.

Coordinates will be posted closer to the event.

earthsky.org says: "Starting at mid to late evening on the nights of August 9th to the 13th, watch for the Perseid meteors to streak across this short summer night from late night until dawn, with only a little interference from the waning crescent moon." 2013 promises to be a spectacular year for viewing according to NASA.
