Riparian Function Workshop: For New and Established Assessors

October 10 & 11 the most innovative and current information workshop is being held at Friends of Black Rock High Rock offices in Gerlach. The workshop will be taught by the Nevada Creeks and Communities Team and is open to all who are interested. The class will teach riparian proper functioning condition assessment for both lotic and lentic riparian areas. We'll spend about a day inside with slides and a day outside doing assessments and talking about rationale and application. A meat and vegetarian homemade mexican lunch will be served.
