HAMS & Others at Black Rock Hot Springs

Join David Book KD7YIM and a mixed bag of Friends, HAMS, and Sierra Club members for a weekend of primitive camping, soaking, and amateur radio fun at Black Rock Hot Springs. We will probably visit other nearby areas such as the Little High Dries and Double Hot Spring. This is a nationwide Amateur Radio Event weekend but will also involve relaxed camping and soaking. Here's your chance to learn about amateur radio in a place where it's really useful! We'll probably meet in Sparks early Saturday morning and head directly to Black Rock Hot Springs! Primitive camping, no facilities, High Clearance vehicles preferred, possible carpooling, new hams welcome, first time visitors welcome, call early if you need to carpool. David Book, 775/843-6443
