Come help Friends publicize our group! We talk to people about our organization, invite them to the Black Rock, and encourage them to attend our events. Many people have never been to the Black Rock so if you've been even once or twice, you'll know more than they do! We even provide you with FAQ's! This is for all you Emigrant Trail Buffs. This event normally includes an outing of some sort on Saturday and a speaker at their dinner meeting on Saturday. In 2011 the speaker discussed his efforts to locate the actual table-shaped rock near Lake Tahoe that Mark Twain used to eat and play cards during his travels in the area! He found it!
