Just a friendly reminder to please take a few minutes to review the draft Dunes Plan and submit your comments to Metric, by this Friday, Feb. 27th.
We have a pretty ambitious set of goals to accomplish this year, and I wanted to thank you for helping to get these ideas in gear. As a refresher, I've outlined what we agreed to do on the last conference call. If I made a mistake or forgot anything, please email me back and I'll rectify it.

- Contact Tallman Lumber (&/or their distributor) re: poles for Dunes Fencing - Done
Have they been ordered? If so when will they be delivered? (We had a goal of 5/24 - Rendezvous)

- Contact Nat'l Riparian Service Team
- From Metric's email, it states that you will look into "bucks" for the fencing.
- Locate or create a BLM "Spring Monitoring Volunteer Training" (manual?) Goal for monitor plan date: Early July.
Metric -
- Forward sign ideas to Margie.
- After 'visiting' the Dunes, create a list of materials needed to fence the area and forward to BLM folks the week of March 9th.
- Confirm June 15 - 17 dates for the Gerlach Community Center for the Nat'l Riparian Service Team training. Done? Please confirm with Roger F.

- Update Volunteer page on web site to include specific volunteer ops & trainings (TBA) Partially Done.
- Get list of projects from Holly at NOS. Done.

- Ideas for Signage to Metric by 3/6 (Metric sent draft, please review and forward comments and ideas to Margie & please cc Metric) We want the signs to be consistent; a "graphic link" so folks will recognize the correlation from the portal signs to the informational/educational signs.
- We had a number of ideas for projects for National Public lands Day: Morley Springs, Cane Springs, possible monitoring of springs, Dunes. Metric, has Friends committed specifically to dates and projects on this list? If not, is this something we should discuss at our next conference call?
