i. Attendance:
Board: Lucy Moreton-Hall, Dave Book, Will Roger Peterson, Sam Stern, Jim Kudrna, Wayne de Geere (proxy for Dan O'Day and Jeff Barker).
Denis Porter was absent. Quorum established.
Staff: Matthew Ebert, Michael Black and Margie Reynolds via phone.
Other: Dave Cooper, Liz Margerum, Lorraine Watson, Ron Johnny.

* NPLD Sept 19 & 20 included several DPW members, keg from Burning Man, handed out Friends of Black Rock pins and granted honorary memberships
* NCOT rural grant received, $3200 for internet, $300 for other, this is $4K less than budgeted.
* Mental Insight Foundation, Burning Man donations received = $7500
* Double Hot fence project with Terry Hardwicke and OCTA folks
* Fly Ranch trips raising money
* NV Day Parade met Jill Derby Gubernatorial candidate
* Nov. 7 - 9 attended NCSF Rendezvous, provided PowerPoint on history of FBR esp. AmeriCorps
* FM project: took photos at Poito, need antenna pattern study
* President appeal, Nov & Dec. e-news w/ appeal, some response
* BLM project meeting on calendar
* BLM Manager report data provided
* QuickBooks complete through December 18
* Crimson reported on FBR at Burning Man retreat
* cost savings: no staff health benefits, cut out fax line
