FBRHR board meetings are now held quarterly--
March, June, September, and December--
and are open to the public. Locations may vary,
but generally meetings are held at 6 p.m.
the third Thursday of the month in Reno.

When the pavement ends, the experience begins.Protect. Respect. SURVIVE. The Friends of Black Rock High Rock is a 501 (c)(3) organization which helps manage the resources of the Black Rock Desert region and educates the public to foster stewardship and preserve its unique character.
The Black Rock Desert is a special place that many people love for many different reasons. Whether you enjoy rocketry or Burning Man, Emigrant Trails or back country hiking, trekking by motorcycle or all terrain vehicle, hunting or ranching, or just camping out alone under the stars, YOU have an interest in making sure that the conditions in the Black Rock Desert are preserved and access to our public lands maintained. Your membership dues and donations help us to make sure that whatever your pleasure, these activities will continue to be available and in balance with each other. Join our
