Join the Friends of Black Rock High Rock, the
Nevada Outdoor School, the
Friends of Nevada Wilderness
and other partner groups in the Black Rock Desert
for a weekend of family fun, education and exploration.
The Black Rock Rendezvous celebrates
the diversity of the Black
Rock Desert Region and fosters stewardship to protect it for future generations.
This is a Leave No Trace Camping Event. Come prepared. Bring all of your own food and water, and pack it out too. Lodging & RV rentals are also available nearby.

- Free "Kids Camp" hosted by Nevada Outdoor School.
- Tours. Explore the area with knowledgable guides.
- Volunteer restoration projects.
- Rocket launches (not your hobby-store variety!)
- Citizen-science Spring Monitoring - get involved!
- Potluck and Dutch Oven Cook-Off
- Acoustic music with Altered Ego on Saturday night.
- First ever Playa Slam, Sunday! Bring your guitar, sing along, or recite some Cowboy Poetry.
PETS:
Pets are not recommended but are allowed if under control at all times. This means on a leash. In the past dogs have spooked and have run off.
